How to play the vyapari game online with friends, free
व्यापारी गेम and “business game online” are the names Indian groups use for this table. Here is how to start it free on a phone, what the rules actually do, and which house rules the software will run.

People who search “vyapari game,” “vyapari game online,” “व्यापारी गेम,” “business game online,” or “play business game online free” are looking for a table, not a definition. They want the business board game on a phone, with the friends already in the chat, without an account.
RentNation is the game on this site. It is independent. You can play it free in the browser: four boards, a room of 2 to 8, and an invite link. The menu is English. World Power includes New Delhi and Mumbai, and that board is still priced in dollars. A rupee board of Indian cities is a different product, and this page says so before the how-to.
If you already know you want this table, skip to starting on a phone. If you are choosing between sites, the Hindi ranking is best business game online.
1. Vyapari game, व्यापारी गेम, and business game are the same search
The words mean the dice-and-rent board. They do not mean the stock market.
- व्यापारी
- A trader. The Hindi name for this genre.
- Business game
- The English name used in India for the same board
- On this site
- RentNation, a free browser game
- This page
- How to play. The ranking lives elsewhere.
In India a lot of families never say “Monopoly.” They say business game, vyapari game, or व्यापारी गेम. Google Suggest returns those phrases at the top of en-IN and hi-IN, and the pages that ranked for them on 20 October 2026 were small Indian sites, not Hasbro. What people want is the board they already know: roll two dice, buy a city, charge rent, bargain, and send a friend broke.
This page is that how-to: play a business game online with friends, free, on a phone, with the rules and the house rules written down before anyone argues. The scored “which site” decision stays in Hindi on सबसे अच्छा बिज़नेस गेम ऑनलाइन, and the long English table is best online Monopoly games. “Monopoly online india” stays on the India page. The Monopoly-named friends guide is play Monopoly online with friends.
Takeaways
- Search the local name. The game underneath is buy, rent, build, trade.
- Open this page to start. Open the Hindi comparison when you are choosing between sites.
- The menu on this site is English.
2. Play the business game online with friends, free, on a phone
One person opens a private room. Everyone else taps the invite link and types a name.
- Account
- None. No signup.
- Download
- None. The browser is enough.
- Invite
- A link, or a 6-character code
- Price
- Free. No ads and no purchases.
To play a business game online free, one person opens onlinemonopolyy.com/play/ and taps Private room. The room gives an invite link. Drop that link in the family WhatsApp group, a college chat, or Telegram. Each person opens it on the phone they already have, types a name, and picks a color. There is no account to create and nothing to install. Someone who cannot tap the link can be read the six-character code and enter it under Have a code. Same room.
The host sets the seat cap, the board, and the starting cash, then starts. Those switches lock when the match begins. If a phone drops off, that person reopens the same link. The game keeps a reconnect token on the device and puts them back in the same seat, with their cash and properties. A phone, a tablet, and a laptop can sit at the same table. The short play-with-friends page is the one-screen version of this step.
Takeaways
- The invite link is the whole setup. Send it before you explain the rules.
- Read the code only when the link is awkward. People mishear letters.
- Eight friends do not need eight of the same phone.
3. Four boards are free. A rupee city board is a different product.
Classic, Europe Edition, World Power Edition, and Mars Edition are in the host’s list.
- Classic
- Dollars. Tokyo, Dubai, London, New York.
- Europe Edition
- Euros. Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome.
- World Power
- Dollars. New Delhi and Mumbai are on it.
- Mars Edition
- Its own coin. Olympus Mons cannot be built on.
All four maps are included. None of them is a purchase, and the host picks one before the first roll. Classic is a world-city circuit in dollars: St. Petersburg and Moscow, Yokohama, Kyoto and Tokyo, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, Toronto and Vancouver, London, Las Vegas and New York, Geneva and Zurich. It is not the old Atlantic City street board. Europe Edition is priced in euros, with Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Paris, and Rome among cities in Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Italy, and Switzerland.
World Power Edition is also in dollars. Its India color group is New Delhi and Mumbai, next to cities in the United States, China, Russia, the United Kingdom, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey, plus airports and the Panama and Suez canals. Greenland can be bought and cannot be developed. World Power is not Hasbro’s Here & Now World Edition. Mars Edition uses its own coin: Phobos Base, Arcadia City, and Utopia City can be built on, and Olympus Mons can be bought and cannot be developed. Say this in the group chat before the link goes out. A board of Indian cities priced in rupees is a different product. Mumbai on World Power does not turn this into that board.
Takeaways
- Pick World Power when the group wants to see Mumbai and New Delhi. The money is still dollars.
- Pick Europe Edition when the group wants euros and European cities.
- Do not promise a Patna-to-Jaipur rupee board. This site does not have one.
4. Rules of the business board game on this table
Buy at the printed price, charge the printed rent, build only on a full color.
- Dice
- Two dice, on your turn
- Pass Start
- Salary of 200
- Land on Start
- 300
- Full color
- Required before you build
Players take turns rolling two dice and moving clockwise. Land on an unowned city and you may buy it for the printed price. If you pass, it stays unowned until someone else lands on it and pays that price. Rent on a city follows that city’s ladder: the base rent with no buildings, then one to four houses, then a hotel. You may build only after you own every developable city in that color group. A hotel replaces four houses. Airports and ports charge rent as well, and the amount rises as you own more of that kind. The full turn is on the rules page.
Passing Start pays 200. Landing on Start pays 300. That salary is the same on every board, and the host cannot turn it off. You can offer a trade at any time: cash, deeds, and a reprieve card. An unimproved property can be mortgaged for half its printed price when mortgages are on. Buying it back costs that amount plus 10%, and a mortgaged deed collects no rent. The last player who is not bankrupt wins.
Takeaways
- The printed price is the price. There is no bargaining with the bank.
- Build only on a complete color. Rent follows the house ladder on the deed.
- Trades are how a blocked color actually changes hands.
5. Indian house rules this game will not pretend to run
Free Parking pots, declined-property auctions, and a forced jail fine are table habits. They are not in the software.
- Free Parking
- A rest space. No jackpot.
- If you decline
- The city stays unsold. No auction.
- Jail bail
- 50, only if you choose to pay
- Speed die
- Not in the game. No turn clock either.
An Indian family table usually has a few extra rules that never made it into a manual. Fines and taxes go into the middle, and whoever lands on Free Parking takes the pile. If you refuse a city, the table auctions it. On the third missed jail roll, you pay the fine and then move. Some groups also double the salary, or force a purchase whenever you can afford the printed price. Those arguments are real. This game will not enforce them. Free Parking, labeled Vacation on these boards, pays nothing and collects nothing. A declined city stays with the bank. You are never required to buy.
Jail works like this. You can be sent there by the Go to Jail space, by a card, or by rolling doubles three times in a row. While you are there you still collect rent. You may pay 50, spend a reprieve card, or roll doubles. Paying or using the card ends the turn. Doubles moves you immediately, using that roll. After three rolls that are not doubles, you leave without paying, and you move on your next turn. There is no speed die and no turn timer. The general version of this list, written for the “faster Monopoly” searches, is Monopoly house rules online. If the group’s whole point is the Free Parking pile or a kitchen-table auction, say so before you send the link. RentRivals documents an auction when a property is declined. This site does not.
Takeaways
- Agree the missing rules out loud. The software will not improvise them.
- A Free Parking jackpot puts cash back in and makes the night longer.
- Do not wait for an auction. It will not start.
6. What the host can change before the first roll
Starting cash, even building, mortgages, teams, the board, the seats, and bots. Then they lock.
- Starting cash
- 500 to 5,000. Default 1,500.
- Even Build
- On by default. Off lets you stack houses.
- Mortgages
- On by default. Off is a harsher game.
- Seats
- 2 to 8. A new room starts at 4.
The lobby is the only place house rules actually change. The host picks starting cash from 500, 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, 2,500, 3,000, 4,000, or 5,000. The default is 1,500. A table that starts at 500 goes broke sooner. A table that starts at 4,000 or 5,000 can bargain for a long time before rent matters, which is the long evening many family groups want. Even Build is on unless the host turns it off: houses spread across the color, and turning it off lets one city hold a stack. Mortgages are on unless the host wants bankruptcies to arrive quickly.
Team mode is the switch for a large family that does not want every cousin playing alone. Teammates pay no rent to each other, share color groups, can build on a partner’s city, and use a private team chat. A surviving teammate can inherit a bankrupt partner’s deeds. The last team left wins. Empty seats can be filled with bots if the host allows it. The bot level is medium, and the screen does not offer a harder or easier bot. After start, none of these switches move.
Takeaways
- For a weeknight, use 500 or 1,000, leave Even Build and mortgages on, and cap the seats at the people who are actually here.
- For a long family night, use 3,000 or more and say the number before anyone plans a trade.
- Tell the group which switches you touched. A surprise hotel stack starts a fight.
7. A family group on WhatsApp, up to eight
The useful Indian setup is one link, mixed phones, and a seat cap that matches the people in the chat.
- Where the link goes
- WhatsApp, Telegram, or a voice call
- Players
- Up to 8, included
- Late cousin
- A bot can hold the seat, or they reconnect
- Language
- English menus
A business game with friends online usually means people who already share a chat: siblings in different cities, a college group, cousins who will not install the same app. One host, one private room, one link. Set the cap to the number of humans who said they would play. A new room starts at 4, and the host can raise it to 8 before the match. Eight seats are part of the room. They are not something you pay to unlock. If someone is still in traffic, a bot can sit down so the rest of the table is not waiting, and you can leave bots off when the group wants only people.
Phones are the normal way in. The board, the trade offers, and the chat work in the mobile browser. You do not need a laptop to finish a game. The India page covers playing from a phone without an install. If the group is also on a video call, open the room first and then join the call. The order of operations for Zoom, Discord, and WhatsApp is on board games with friends. Plan for a sitting that can run the better part of an hour once six or eight people are trading. A “quick one” that starts at midnight is how someone leaves angry.
Takeaways
- Send the link, then the three rules that surprise people: no Free Parking pot, no auction, salary of 200.
- Cap the room at the real group. Empty human seats with bots off will wait forever.
- English on screen is fine for most groups. Say it anyway, so nobody expects Hindi labels.
8. When this is the wrong business game
Official boards, Monopoly GO, and a rupee city board are other products. The comparison says which free site does what.
- This table
- Free browser, link, 2–8, four boards
- Official app
- A paid download, checked 20 October 2026
- Monopoly GO
- A different phone game
- Auctions
- Documented on RentRivals, not here
There is no official, free, no-download Monopoly client from Hasbro. The licensed mobile board game from Marmalade, “MONOPOLY: The Board Game,” is a download, and the US App Store listing showed a purchase price when we looked on 20 October 2026. Monopoly GO is a different free-to-play phone game. A Monopoly GO friend code will not open this room. Use the official app when the group wants the licensed board and will install and pay. Use this site when the group wants the people they already have, on the phones they already have, tonight.
If the argument is “which free site,” read the comparison instead of this how-to. The Hindi page is the decision, using the same scores as the English scorecard. Richup is the stronger public-lobby option and shows ads. RentRivals is the browser game that documents an auction when nobody buys. This page does not rescore them. It tells you how to play the vyapari game on this site, and where the board stops matching the one in the cupboard.
Takeaways
- Send this link for a private friends table. Send the comparison when someone wants a different ruleset.
- Do not call World Power the official world edition.
- Do not call this Monopoly GO.
Send the link, then say the three limits
One person opens a private room, picks a board, sets the cash and the seats, and pastes the invite link. Four boards and a table of up to eight are included. Nobody makes an account.
Then say the three things a vyapari table will ask about. The money is dollars on Classic and World Power, and euros on Europe Edition, even though World Power includes New Delhi and Mumbai. Free Parking pays no jackpot. A city you refuse is not auctioned. After that, the game can start.
Frequently asked questions
Can I play a vyapari game online for free?
Yes. On onlinemonopolyy.com you open a private room and share the invite link or the 6-character code. The game is free, with no ads, no in-game purchases, and no account. Up to 8 players and four boards are included. It is an independent property-trading game, not the official Monopoly app.
Is a business game with friends online the same as a vyapari game?
In Indian search, yes. “Business game online,” “business game with friends online,” “business board game online,” “vyapari game,” and व्यापारी गेम are names for the dice-and-rent board. On this site that game is RentNation. The menu is English.
What is व्यापारी गेम?
व्यापारी means a trader. व्यापारी गेम is the Hindi name for the business board game: buy cities, charge rent, build, trade, and bankrupt the table. This page is the how-to for playing that kind of game free in the browser with friends.
Is this an Indian-city board in rupees?
No. Classic uses dollars and world cities such as Tokyo, Dubai, London, and New York. Europe Edition uses euros. World Power uses dollars and includes New Delhi and Mumbai. Mars uses its own coin. A board of Indian cities priced in rupees is a different product.
Do we need an account or a download to play a business board game online?
No. Everyone plays in the browser. The host shares an invite link or a 6-character code, and each person joins with a name. Phones and laptops join the same room. Nothing is installed.
How many friends can play a business game online here?
From 2 to 8. The host sets the cap before the game starts. A new room starts at 4, and eight players is included. It is not a paid upgrade. Empty seats can be filled with bots if you turn that on.
Does Free Parking pay a jackpot, and is there an auction?
No. Free Parking is a rest space. Fines and taxes are not collected into a pot. If you decline a property, it stays unowned until another player lands on it and buys it at the printed price. There is no bidding. There is also no speed die and no turn timer.
